CAD DESIGNER:

The CBR Group ia a wireless telecommunications consulting firm. Our clients include the major wireless carriers such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

We are currently seeking an AutoCAD Drafter/Designer. The responsibilities include the following…

• Develop AutoCAD drawings with necessary views, sections, and details with designer's supervision.

• Maintain project drawing files, associated records and documentation in an orderly condition.

• Modify communication drawings based on rough sketches, marked-up copies, and/or verbal instructions.

• Create production drawings utilizing materials such as concrete, steel and CMU from designer/engineers markups and sketches under minimum supervision.

• Must be able to independently read field notes and translate the information to AutoCAD.

• Aid in the production of construction drawings and the development of standard details and standard prototypes at front end of project.

• Modify and/or refine details and prototypes at the direction of the Design Engineer.

• Optimize efficiency and production.

• Follow schedule of priorities as established by Design Engineer.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2011 or newer.

• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

• Ability to follow directions and willing to learn.

• Must have a good business ethics, positive attitude, meets deadlines and is dependable.

• Ability to work in a team environment, completing individual work task.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.

• 1-4 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, experience in Structural, Mechanical, or Architectural design is preferred.
